Motocross Action magazine tests the AIR4ORCE
In the June issue of Motocross Action magazine the crew test the Moto Tassinari AIR4ORCE tunable intake system. The testing is done on both a 2011 Yamaha YZ250F and a 2011 Honda CRF250R.
The Motocross Action product tests covers everything from fitment to dyno and on-track results and impressions. On the dyno, testing showed a gain of one more horsepower at peak on the Yamaha YZ250F.
Moto Magazine features the MVR-D team bikes
The UK based MVR-D team is featured in issue number 66 of MOTO Magazine. The feature describes what it takes to get the 2011 Honda CRF250R up to "GP Pace". Among other modifications the team choses to run the AIR4ORCE tunable intake system. MVR-D team boss Mark Chamberlain is impressed with the ability for "extra tunability" by pairing different length velocity stacks with different exhaust configurations.
The MVR-D team tested the AIR4ORCE while on a trip Stateside and liked it so much they brought it back to the UK with them and it is now a standard part on all team race bikes.
Pete Peterson's first impressions of the AIR4ORCE
Dirt Rider's Pete Peterson offers his initial thoughts on the AIR4ORCE tunable intake system for the 2011 CRF250R. Plese keep in mind this is strictly an "initial impression" and that a much more in-depth review of the AIR4ORCE will be featured in an upcoming issuse of Dirt Rider magazine.
"The guys at Mototassinari have been helping two-strokes breathe better for years with their VForce reeds and reed block, and now they're tackling four stroke intakes with a very unique approach to dirt bikes - swappable velocity stacks in the airboot. The Air4orce for the fuel injected 2011 CRF250R came in along with a series of rain storms, so I've only got one day on the mod but it's pretty unique."
Sneak peek of the new GEICO Honda AIR4ORCE advert
The GEICO Honda race team has been using the Moto Tassinari AIR4ORCE since before Trey Canard raced with it at the Motocross of Nations. However now it's official as Moto Tassinari and the GEICO have signed a sponsorship agreement that will see the entire GEICO Honda team racing with AIR4ORCE. This agreement will not be limited to 250F class riders only as Kevin Windham will also be racing with the Moto Tassinari AIR4ORCE.
