A refreshing look at Snowmobile Ice Drag racing through the lens of Chris Milliman
Back in late February Chris Milliman decided to go photograph an Ice Drag at Lake Morey, VT. Here's what he came back with.
If you're interested in seeing the "other side" of snowmobile ice drag racing, than you may appreciate the work Chris Milliman shot at the recent Goldenchild Nationals Shootout. As you'll soon discover this isn't your typical race coverage of an event. Instead it takes on a much more personal tone, and as such, the weekend racer can really relate.
Milliman’s statement about the work -
Four-Stroke and Two is a study in the nature of parallel worlds. You can find these scenes all over, the participants all in. Right here, custom built super-charged snowmobiles rocketing to 145 mph in under 5 seconds. Preceded by hours and hours in the garage, bloody knuckles, frost bite, and ear plugs. But it could be anything and it’s running along next to us, so take a different line and here’s what you see.
You can see more images from the event here.
